Elena - I am not going to write for awhile. I've done absolutely nothing else lately, and I need some catch-up time. In fact, I've put in so many hours, I think those should count for all the rest of next month, although I'll be back long before then, as soon as I find some balance.

Did it:
Cami--I got so involved I forgot to pick my daughter up from school.
Elena - worked all day, finally finished - really, I mean it this time - my novel. Still wondering about the title.

Mary -my 8yo has been home sick and it's thrown off my schedule.
Julie--I'm teaching joy school this week, which is the time I usually write.....

Cami--I took too much time and now I'll have to scramble to be ready to decorate the wedding I have to do tonight.

Elena - ran out of time. Every time I sat down, someone made me get up and take them somewhere.

I think I want to throw my book in the recyling bin
My sister sent back Hepsiba this week and told me to cut most of the second half of the story. Like at least 100 of the 300 pages.
She cut out all of my subplots.
She eliminated all of the conflict between individual characters.
I was angry.
Then I was depressed.
Then I started cutting things she didn't suggest I cut, and left in most of what she did. I liked my book better, but I'm still wondering, should I chuck the whole thing?

Julie--It was painful and crappy, and I'm sure it will just end up getting cut, but I wrote a page.
Cami--It's Monday and I got a page written. That almost never happens.
Mary - I'm unplugged this week, I'm hoping to get a lot of writing done.

Elena - had a marathon revision day. Did not exercise and now I'm sorry. Except when it's a good writing day it seems wrong to interrupt.
