Day 350

Did it:

Jamie - Elena, I'm sorry your book is not done anymore.  Bleh.  Cutting stinks.

Day 349

Did it:

Jamie - Tried writing outside today while my kids played.  I'm not sure if I like what I've got... I'll have to type it up first.

Elena- I'm not done with my book anymore. Steve says it's probably too long. Wrote a synopsis and elevator pitch until four a.m., got up at eight, didn't like it, rewrote it, sent it.

Day 348

Did it:
Jamie - Brainstorming, not writing... but that's where I'm at right now.

Elena - Brainstorming is good. Saves so much rewriting time.

Day 346

Julie--reworked my query and synopsis. Also, I FINALLY met with my critique partner last night after a two-month hiatus. Sad we have a critique group of two, but it's better than nothing. I miss you guys!

Jamie - I actually was taking these last two weeks off because tomorrow the ballet classes I teach are having their performance.  But I woke up from a nap this afternoon with one of those really crazy poignant interesting dreams that you want to know the whole story about.  And now I have  2 1/2 pages, and no idea what happens next.  But I sure want to know.... and Julie I'm glad you're back.  When you stopped I thought you might be gone for good because you said you didn't really want to be a write and since I think that half the time I thought... if she goes, I'll know it's okay if Igo.  But I guess since you didn't I can't, right?  Thanks for saving me!  Now if I can just see my way to some ending with my current project.

Day 345

Cami--I finally did some writing today. Why is it so hard to find the time?
Julie--I wrote again! Second day in a row! I wrote a synopsis and cover letter.

Julie--A page! A page! I wrote a page! I was totally dreading it, but it actually wasn't so hard. And I even threw in a little foreshadowing (hopefully not too obvious).

Julie--Well, I didn't actually write a whole lot, but I went over the first thirty pages of my novel that I wrote months ago. I feel pressure to write it soon because it's sort of a time-sensitive "hot" genre right now. Not the kind of book I could sit on and sell in ten years.
