Day 39

Did it:

Cami-30 revised pages. Woo-hoo!
Elena
Julie--barely. I'm hating it.

Didn't:
Kim--sewing, sewing sewing. It's fun to exercise different creative muscles once in a while. Then on to forcing the mountain of toys at our house into some type of organization that doesn't involve a pile on the floor of the baby's room. But I'll be back to my pages soon.
Laura - Failing miserably all week... it's the end of the term chaos!
Jamie - My mom's birthday

Julie--barely
Jamie - fixed some things that definitely needed to be fixed before I could be excited about moving on again
Cami-revised another full chapter.
Elena--sort of. Wasn't very productive.

Didn't:
Kim--I've been enjoying tackling the way-overdue section of my to do list (stuff that's been waiting for my attention for a year or two), letting some important story questions stew while I work, and I hope to get back to writing in a couple of days.

Day 33

Did it:

Cami-a rather frustrating, unproductive day of writing.
Jamie
Kim

Didn't:
Laura - swimming in papers...
Julie--but I did randomly get three different rejections for three different pieces today. So I still felt like a writer.
Kyle--I chose sleep. I'm happy with my decision.

Elena--Jamie's fault. I read Jamie's book instead. Thanks a lot, Jamie! Really. I loved it.

First Drafts

I was totally unproductive last week when it came to writing. I'm just not sure where all my time went, but by now I've managed to convince myself that there wasn't any time for writing. Last night though I found something an author wrote on writing first drafts that I found interesting (http://betweenfactandfiction.blogspot.com/2009/10/tips-for-first-drafting.html). Perhaps with this new insight I will be able to be more productive this week.

Day 32

Did it:
