Elena- well, actually not writing, but necessary research again. I'm learning how to sail a boat up the Mississippi. All this useless knowledge, just to make a fantasy a little more believable. Who knew? Always wanted to learn to sail, probably since I read Joan Aiken's Nightbirds on Nantucket when I was nine. And then Kidnapped and Treasure Island. Except I'm too scared to get on a boat. Nothing solid under me--unh!
